|Description||This cross-specification course will explain and explore key concepts in stylistics, with activities for students and approaches that can be used and adapted for any Lang/Lit course. We will look at how stylistics approaches can be applied to a range of different genres, including non-fiction and spoken texts. Course activities will focus on short texts to model concepts and approaches, taken from a range of different specifications. You will go away with a set of tools for analysis, resources to use or adapt and greater confidence about what stylistics can offer both you and your students.|
