Description | This course will assist NQTs, post-NQTs (+1 and +2) and experienced teaching assistants to develop a deeper understanding of the range of issues and experiences that can impact on pupil wellbeing and vulnerability. We will look at: - Ofsted’s increased focus on pupil welfare and wellbeing - how meeting wellbeing and welfare needs can impact on improved behaviour and raised attainment - strategies for classroom teachers and schools to identify vulnerable pupils and to support pupils’ emotional health and wellbeing |
