Wow!Law aims to provide delegates with approaches and ready to use resources that promote high levels of engagement, a commitment to learning and a buzz of activity in the law classroom!

All ideas and resources have been created by experienced teachers with our team including teachers currently delivering A level Law using AQA and OCR awarding bodies, vocational Law modules under EDEXCEL specification, as well as Law delivered at Foundation Degree level. The resources are tried and tested on students and enhanced by a professional design team and some clever IT trickery. The 50+ resources given to delegates on each course provide a variety of creative learning activities which stimulate and challenge law students. The resources aim to assist the ever-enthusiastic law teacher in their quest to ensure students grasp those all-too-tricky concepts such as the doctrine of precedent, alternative dispute resolution and the concept of liability, as well as enthuse overall the curriculum topics, to provide a fun and exciting learning environment. These resources are aimed at all teachers, whatever their experience.

The day is highly interactive and provides plenty of opportunity for attendees to explore new learning activities, discuss how they are used and consider ways of adapting them to meet the individual needs of their learners.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other Law teachers and the sharing of teaching techniques and data sources provides a constant theme for the day.

Wow!Law is structured to include resources that cover the following outcomes:

‘To Inspire and Engage’ – effective lesson starters designed to enthuse and engage the learner at the start of a lesson or introduction to a new topic.

Deliver ‘Content Essentials’ – activities that deepen students’ knowledge and understanding of key lawtopics, promote effective collaborative learning and help develop a confident, independent and resilient learner.

‘Develop Exam Skills’ and ‘Test Yourself’ - resources that help to develop higher order thinking and maximise student achievement.

Delegate Feedback

"I attended the Law wow course yesterday in Manchester and can I start off by saying what a great day it was. I feel there was a range of resources suitable for inexperienced and experienced law teachers. My only comment would be is I don’t know where to start as there was so much stuff!! " Andrea McGovern, Darwin Aldridge Community

Thanks to you Sarah and Laura for running yesterday’s CPD session for Wow! Law. Personally I found the collection of resources very well presented and something that will bring a new lease of life into my very tired looking resources.  Kapil Bhoodoo, Gateway School
